1st: Reduce. 2nd: Reuse. 3rd: Recycle. Three great guidelines to reducing our impact on the earth. This blog focuses on the 2nd - reuse. With a little creativity your used and second hand items can become updated and exciting - and you can feel good about not adding to the landfill and saving money.

Summer! Lawn Chairs
I am ready for summer! These lovely lawn chairs are comfy, easy to store and look great. Together they were a total of $5.98 at my local second-hand store. They retail anywhere from $8.00 to $25.00 each. The small table you see in the forground has been part of our outdoor living for as long as I can remember; and it obviously needs a makeover. So, I am taking suggestions - what color would spruce it up?

a light sky blue with flowers and geometric shapes painted on it!
ReplyDeletePaint it gold! No don't that's gross. I want you to paint it with the black rhino rock chip stuff that goes in truck beds. Then it would be all textured and things wouldn't slip. No, don't do that either, it'll cost more than the table. Red.
